2022 General Election Interference
Illegal election activities during the 2022 State Senate Race by Red Dawn Foster
Why would Oyate need a ride from Rapid City to vote in District 27? Any tribal member that has a residence in Rapid City certainly would not need a ride to vote in District 27. More likely, the Oyate living in Rapid City would be voting in District 30, 32, 33, 34, or 35, unless they are temporarily residing in Rapid City due to medical-related issues.
On the day of the General Election, Red Dawn Foster canvasses voters by sending out this text message via Facebook. Why would Oyate need a ride from Rapid City to vote in District 27? Red Dawn Foster is canvassing voters within 100-feet of an election voting center in Pine Ridge within 1½ hours before the polls close. This photo was posted on her Facebook account the day of the General Election in South Dakota. This is a clear violation of South Dakota Codified Law §12-18-3 which is a Class 2 misdemeanor.

SDCL says “No person may, in any polling place or within or on any building in which a polling place is located or within one hundred feet from any entrance leading into a polling place, maintain a campaign office or public address system, or use any communication [emphasis added] or photographic device in a manner which repeatedly distracts, interrupts, or intimidates any voter or election worker, or display campaign posters, signs, or other campaign materials or by any like means solicit any votes for or against any person or political party or position on a question submitted or which may be submitted. No person may engage in any practice which interferes with the voter's free access to the polls or disrupts the administration of the polling place, or conduct any petition signature gathering, on the day of an election, within one hundred feet of a polling place.”
Red Dawn Foster sends out this electronic message via Facebook on the day of the South Dakota 2022 General Election. Note: She submits this posting one hour before the polls close. How did she know she needed 500 votes?
Red Dawn Foster says, “It’s a wrap!!” What does she mean by this statement? Does she have the 500 votes she needs to win the election? Hmmm……
Note timing of post at 12:45 PM
Red Dawn Foster serves only the “Oyate” but not the rest of the voters of District 27. It is time to vote for someone who will represent ALL of the voters of District 27.
NOTE: The posting on Facebook is from Allen, South Dakota, not from her Pine Ridge Residence.
