Accomplishments of a US Public Health Service Engineer Officer

Good evening District 27. Yesterday I shared with you that I am a veteran of the US Public Health Service and explained to you that the State of South Dakota does not recognize active-duty members or veterans of the Uniformed Services. Normally, I am not the type of person who goes around boasting about his accomplishments, but today, I thought I would share with you a list of the number of ribbons and awards that I received in my 21 years of active-duty service to my country.

As one can see, my commitment and dedication to public service did not go unnoticed throughout my career with the US Public Health Service. I am a person who continues to answer the call to public service.  The words of John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country,” continue to ring true with me today, albeit I question whether our current politicians share the same sentiment. If elected to be your state senator, I will put service to my country and state over any personal political ambitions that come my way. I am not in this race to make a political career. I am in this senate race to be the voice for ALL of District 27 because I am of the opinion that our District has no voice in our current state government. If you agree with this sentiment, I would appreciate your vote on November 5th. God bless.
