Good evening District 27. It's one week before the General Election and I am starting to feel some momentum.
After yesterday's canvassing activity at the Martin Livestock, I thought I would get up before the crack of dawn and drive over to Allen to do some sign-waving at American Horse School. It was 41 degrees when I stood at the approach leading up to the school during the morning twilight hours. I had my flashlight on my smartphone shining on my campaign sign as the early morning cars drove by. Eventually, the sun came over the horizon and more cars and buses started to drop off kids at the school and were able to see my sign.
The Lord continues to remind me that I "need to go where the people are." One cannot expect to win a campaign if the candidate does not interact with the voters. I am trying my best to meet as many voters as I can under the circumstances, considering this is a district that is as big as Connecticut and Rhode Island combined. I hope you appreciate the hard work that I have been putting in throughout this campaign and trust me with your vote so that it will carry me across the finish line with a victory on November 5th. Have a good night. God bless.
